Night Shoots

Last week I took care of the DIT Station (digital imaging technician station). The DIT Station is a cart with two HD screens that plug into the cameras so that the director of photography and director can see the images and decide what lights and other aspects to add to the shot. The cables that plug into the cameras are special HD cables that render these HD images. Each time they change the location of the scenes the DIT Station has to travel with the cameras.

We shot some scenes in forested areas and also in some creeks. By the middle of the week we did some night scenes. We would start shooting at about four in the afternoon and would go until four or five in the morning. This week I am learning more about sound mixing. Will write more about this over the weekend.
